He really is! I noticed him staring at me from his vivarium just before, so I was like "oho, if it's a staring contest you want, it's a staring contest you'll get, good buddy!" and went and sat in front of him and stared back at him. We were both staring at each other for a little while when he suddenly looked at something over my shoulder. I turned my head to see what he was looking at and as I did he ran off and hid under a log. Well played, little fella!
